Electrical Services
Breakers tripping, or a panel that predates half your appliances? On Point Construction handles residential and commercial electrical with permits and inspections managed for you.
Why Choose On Point Construction for Your Electrical Work
A lot of Miami homes are running modern loads through service equipment that was sized for a very different household. Add a wall oven, a second air conditioner, and a car charger to a panel from another era and the problem is not going to solve itself. We assess the actual service capacity before recommending anything.

Core Electrical Systems We Work On
Service, distribution, and branch circuits are three layers of the same system, and a problem in one shows up as a symptom in another.
Service & Panel Upgrades
Replacement of undersized or obsolete panels, including known-problem equipment that insurers increasingly decline to cover, with service sized to real load.
Rewiring & Circuit Additions
Replacement of deteriorated or aluminum branch wiring, plus dedicated circuits for the appliances that should never have shared one in the first place.
Our electricians in Miami are the right choice for your project.
Safety Standards & Compliance You Can Count On
Electrical is the trade where cutting corners has the most immediate consequences. It is permitted and inspected work, and unpermitted electrical is a genuine liability at insurance renewal and resale.

Electrical FAQ's
Frequent breaker trips, a panel with no spare spaces, lights dimming when large appliances start, or plans to add an EV charger, a second AC, or a major kitchen appliance. Certain older panel brands are also known problems and some insurers now require replacement. We assess capacity and tell you plainly where you stand.
Yes. We pull the electrical permit with the correct building department, schedule the rough-in inspection before anything is covered, and handle final inspection after devices are set.
Usually one to two days for the work itself, though it also requires coordination with the utility for the service disconnect and reconnect, which can extend the calendar. Power is typically out for several hours on the day of the changeover, and we schedule that with you in advance.
Sometimes, and sometimes not. It depends on your existing service size and what else is already on it. A load calculation answers it definitively. If capacity is short, options range from load management devices to a full service upgrade, and we will lay out the cost difference before you commit.
Aluminum branch circuit wiring from a certain era is a known fire risk at connections, and many insurers ask about it. It does not always require full replacement, since approved connection remediation is sometimes acceptable, but it does require attention from someone who knows the accepted methods.
Either the circuit is genuinely overloaded, there is a fault somewhere on it, or the breaker itself has failed. Repeatedly resetting it treats the symptom and ignores what the breaker is telling you. We trace the circuit and find the actual cause rather than swapping the breaker and calling it done.

Yes. We handle the transfer switch, the dedicated circuits, and the permitting for standby generators and battery systems. Given hurricane season, we will also walk you through which circuits genuinely need to be on backup versus which just feel like they should be.
Whole-house surge protection at the panel is inexpensive relative to what a single lightning event can cost in electronics and appliances, and South Florida gets more lightning than almost anywhere in the country. It is one of the easier upgrades to justify.
